KettleHouse Brewing Company is excited to release our 2013 North American Brewing Awards (NABA) Silver Medal award winning beer in the Barrel Aged category. Gin Barrel Aged Eddy Out® Pale Ale will be on tap at our Northside location Monday August 5th.
Using Dry Fly Distilling gin barrels we aged our Eddy Out® Pale Ale for 4 months resulting in a smooth drinking beer with a pleasant juniper aroma and just a little heat at the finish. Dry Fly Distilling supplied us with barrels from the only batch of barrel aged gin they have ever produced. They utilized wheat whisky barrels and aged the gin, which contain Chinook hops, apple, coriander, mint, juniper and other botanicals, for over a year before allowing us the privilege of using them to create this Silver Medal Award winning beer.
We are serving the Gin Barrel Aged Eddy Out® Pale Ale beer in a 9oz snifter and have a limited quantity. Stop by our Northside location to try this unique award winning beer.
